Hello, and welcome back to the conscious code series on the embody knee podcast. I am your host, crystal Renee, the soul brand Alchemist. And I refer to this gate as the rebel trend setter. And in human design, it's known as the gate of contribution. And the gate of fulfillment. And this is located in the throat center, moving towards the identity or G center. In the channel of inspiration. Which is a design of the creative role model. And it's connected to gate one. In the gene keys, this gate is called diamond of the self. And in the I Ching, it is called. Holding together, water upon the earth. Tropical astrology, this is located in the sign of Taurus. And then the last day it goes into Gemini. Um, but in Vedic astrology, of course, it's in the sign of Taurus specifically in. The Critica, Nick Shastra. So the overall energy of gate eight is centered around individuality, authenticity and influence. It embodies the journey from artificiality and conformity in the shadow. To authentic self-expression innovation and leadership and its higher expressions. So the transformative process involves the courage to step away from societal expectations, embrace individuality and lead through authentic and empowering examples. So the shadow of gate eight is mediocrity. And that represents a tendency to conform to societal norms. And expectations which stunts your unique individual expression and innovative potential. And the repressive or extroverted nature. This is showing up as wooden and this actually manifests as a sense of rigidity or stiffness in your actions, expressions, or approach to life. It may involve resistance to change or a lack of flexibility or tendency to conform to societal norms or expectations. This would in nature can inhibit the full expression of individuality, creativity and personal style. For some reason as I'm reading this. Uh, petrified wood comes to mind where it's just been. In the same state for so long that it just becomes solid matter in the sea. It turns into a rock, right? And then the. Reactive nature, or if you're more of an extroverted person., this can show up as a tendency to put on a false persona. Or adopt an artificial facade in order to fit or gain approval from others. And it may involve wearing masks, pretending to be someone or something that you're not or engaging in insincere behavior. So this reactive behavior can lead to a sense of inauthenticity and disconnection from your true self. So in your shadow. You remain in the comfort zone and conform to societal norms and ended up stifling your authentic expression that prevents you from making a meaningful contribution to your tribe, to your group, to society in general. You have a fear of being different in your shadow? And standing out. Being different from others. And that actually holds you back from fully embracing your unique self and making a bold contribution. So you, you end up following outside authorities instead of listening to your own. Authentic self and authentic voice and what you want to contribute., you lack a sense of inner purpose because of this, because you're disconnected from your true inner purpose and giving up on your dreams. So you end up having this artificial expression. Which creates an illusion of yourself based on others' expectations rather than being genuine and authentic. Which hinders your ability to make a true contribution. It's all about you having the power to bring something new to the table when you're following everyone else in your shadow, or you're scared to be different than everyone else, then you're really not contributing anything. You don't think outside of the box. You have a fear of success in your shadow, which leads to self-sabotage. And you try to fit in when you're not necessarily made, meant to fit in. You're meant to, uh, contribute your own unique essence. And therefore, because you're not contributing, you're disconnected from service feeling purposeless. Um, seeking external validation and trying to be a role model. Uh, feeling completely disconnected from. The contribution that your, you came to make. But that brings us to our, your gift, which is style. And that embodies the courage to break free from conventional norms and express your authenticity and individuality boldly, inspiring others to embrace their own unique potential. So ultimately you are a trend setter. You have your unique style that you bring to the table, you contribute this style and then people kind of they're like, Ooh, What are, what is she doing? What are you, what is this person doing? I want to follow them. So in your gift, you are expressing yourself authentically. You have a unique gift for. I'm doing this without concern for societal norms or expectations, your ability to be radically authentic, inspires others, to do the same and embrace their individuality. You have the innovative contribution where you make a significant difference in the world by making bold and innovative contributions, your individual efforts leave a lasting impact on the collective. And you have the power to shift the orientation of your community or grow or group over time. So you have this very empowering influence over others because your presence catches people's attention because you bring something fresh and new to the table. So through your own example, you inspire others to break free from mediocrity. And embrace their true potential. I love this gate. You have exquisite creativity because you possess a deeply fulfilling sense of purpose, which is driven by a desire to manifest your individual dreams and visions, and your create your creative style serves as a cutting edge of creation. Uh, allowing you to shine like an exquisite rare Juul in the heart of creation. So the more you step out of. Your comfort zone and step out of the box. The more you're able to contribute. To whatever it is that you are. Uh, part of. And it really does make a difference, whatever it is that you bring to the table. You also have this rebellious spirit where you embody the essence of a rebel with a cause. And you break free from conventional norms and encourage others to find their own answers. You do your own thing. And that actually really draws people to you. Um, you encourage others to brace, embrace their individuality. And you have this touch of wildness and mystery. To you. And that brings us to the Siddhi or highest frequency of this gate, which is exquisiteness. Which symbolizes the ultimate manifestation of your unique essence, where individuality merges with the divine. Radiating a unique beauty that is interwoven with the fabric of existence. Oh, so beautiful. So it's like you're contributing, you're bringing something new. You're innovative. You you have your own unique style. And you. You lead through example because of this. So instead of seeking followers or mimics like you do in your shadow, you lead by example, you empower and influence others by not dictating, but by demonstrating the possibilities of authentic alignment and self-expression. And your primary focus is on making valuable contributions to causes or projects, and you're always eager to help or offer assistance when needed. Your honest and empowering voice asks. Can I help? And inspires cooperation and collaboration among others. And you have a natural talent for pointing the way ahead and guiding others with possibilities and empowering directions. Your ability to express ideas and visions in an inspiring manner makes you the glue that holds projects and relationships together. Which fosters loyalty and respect. So ultimately. You bring a lot to the table, a lot of new, fresh ideas, your own unique style, your own way of doing things with which inspires others. To want to tap into their own unique, authentic self as well. And that's what you can infuse into your business and brand. The., empowering others to be more of themselves, to contribute more of their own unique energy into whatever it is that they are doing. To be the example of. Your own authentic style, showing up as exactly who you are and empowering others to do the same. And having that rebel. Essence to you that says we don't have to do it the way everyone else is doing it. I have a new way. Let me show you and let me show you how you can implement it in your life as well. So here are some contemplated questions you can ask yourself. If you have at gate eight in your chart. Do I believe that the greatest contribution I could ever make is by being myself. Why, or why not? Do I ever Ribel for rebellion's sake. Why is that? And what is one bold action I can take right now that would allow me to express who I am more authentically in the world. And here are some tips that you can use to further embrace your shadow of mediocrity and the gift of style and exquisiteness. Embrace your authenticity. You have a unique contribution to make to the world? Don't be afraid to express it freely. Remember, it's your individuality that sets you apart. So celebrate it. Step out of your comfort zone. Challenge yourself to move beyond the familiar. It's often in the discomfort of the new and unknown that you'll find the space to grow and evolve. And embody the rebel with a cause., don't conform for the sake of conformity. Stanford, what you believe in and use your influence to make a positive impact in the world.
